SmartTech ID can enhance the security of your card by incorporating anti-counterfeiting features such as holograms, ultra-violet fluorescent inks, or a custom logo. These features help to insure that your cards are not duplicated. Ultra-violet (UV) Fluorescent Inks: Invisible to the naked eye, these inks are embedded into the card and can verify the authenticity of a card when placed under a black ultra-violet light. Holograms: The accepted security measure in the financial and banking world, holograms are easily recognizable by security personnel, allowing for quick identification of counterfeit cards. Holograms can be embedded or appear on the surface of cards.

Proximity sensors for access control.

A proximity card’s internal antenna provides greater security than a magnetic stripe, whose data is vulnerable to strong magnetic fields or decoding.
